About the Initiative
The year-long Decolonizing Gender Studies Workshop that focuses on supporting equitable and anti-racist institutional practices. This project seeks to transform the curriculum, teaching, operations, intersectional campus programming and the culture of historically white campuses that are still grappling with white supremacy.
Dr. Catherine M. Orr and Dr. Lisa Anderson-Levy of Beloit College are facilitating four virtual workshops over the course of the 2020-21 academic year, and Dr. Stephanie Rytilahti, Director of the WGSC, is providing ongoing support, guidance, and feedback to participants.
