Nourishing Theatre

Nourishing Theatre

In this short presentation, Polizzi outlines their transdisciplinary research on theatre practice which emphasizes the following core principles: 1) The intrinsic value of each unique bodymind, 2) Webs of relationships built with generosity and interdependence, and 3) Living in the present in ways that allow us to imagine and build more just futures.
When one of Polizzi’s latest projects was interrupted by the pandemic, the collaborators created a “making of” video that shares some of the specific ways the production experimented with nourishing theatre in practice.
