Yeonhee Cheong is Madison, WI-based visual artist who studies the visual language of human bodies in a society, in various media including printmaking, painting, and fiber art. She worked as a fashion designer before pursuing an MFA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Cheong has been invited to national and international exhibitions including Surface Design Association, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Art and Literature Lab, Indianapolis Art Center, and InKo Centre in Chennai, India. She received several awards including the Best of Show from Clotheshorse at Indianapolis Art Center, installed her juried-commissioned embroidery work for the Pinney branch of Madison Public Library, and won the Women Artists Forward Fund award in 2021.
