"Life is peppered with the unexpected, disorderly, chaotic, and accidental. I assume growing up in the inner city shaped my proclivity to capture these untidy themes in visual art. The movement and energy in my art is created with texture, bold colors, upcycled materials, and abstract flow. I am a self-taught mixed media artist of abstract expressionism, assemblage, collage, fiber arts, and art journals."
