Abstract: This project aims to create a transnational network of care between UW-Madison individuals and its students of color studying abroad through a peer-mentoring program. The program’s goal is to serve as an emotional holding space for the latter group while they are away from their home university and experiencing race in new, foreign, and potentially challenging contexts.
