WGSC’s own Stephanie Rytilahti named the new Executive Administrator of The Berkshire Conference of Women Historians (Berks). Founded in 1930, the Berkshire Conference of Women Historians promotes scholarship and supports the activities of women in the historical profession. Learn more about the organization here!
The Berkshire Conference on Women Historians writes on social media of Dr. Rytilahti’s extensive work for the WGSC and other professional qualifications:
“Stephanie brings a wealth of experience as a scholar, administrator, and advocate. With a PhD in History and a certificate in Women’s Studies from Duke University, she has spent the past several years directing the University of Wisconsin System Women’s and Gender Studies Consortium. Her leadership has centered on inclusive academic programming, strategic event planning, and feminist advocacy across higher education. Many of you may also know her through her national service with the National Women’s Studies Association.
Stephanie’s expertise in coordinating large-scale conferences, navigating institutional policy, and building collaborative networks will be a tremendous asset as we move forward—particularly as we reimagine the future of the Berks and continue our commitment to equity, accessibility, and historical scholarship.”
Join us at the WGSC in congratulating Dr. Rhytilahti!
