Sawyer Reid, UW-Whitewater (he/him/his), is a double major in Women’s and Gender Studies and Media Arts and Game Development. He is certified in LGBTQ+ Studies and is a proud and active member of UW-Whitewater’s LGBTQ+ community including spaces like IMPACT and the Pride Center. His passion is storytelling in every way possible, including writing, digital art, video production, and Dungeons and Dragons.

    Sawyer's "Trans Man(-ifesto)" was brought into the world through a summer of staying at his parent's house. It details the ways in which society and parental figures view queer and trans individuals coming out as a "loss," and analyzes the perspective through a queer and feminist rooted theoretical lens.
