Breckin Sargeant (she/her/hers) is a senior at UW La Crosse studying Psychology and Ethnic and Racial Studies. She is graduating in May and will go on to earn her masters degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology in the fall. Breckin is interested in the intersectionality of marginalized identities and how navigating the world with them may impact our mental health. Her undergraduate research focused on this by exploring the impact of racial micro aggressions on the academic performance of students of color. She will continue this focus in her practice as a counselor after completing graduate school.
