Paid Leave and Parenting: Examining Family Leave Policies Through the Experiences of UW-Madison Faculty
This project examines family leave policy needs and access through the experiences of UW-Madison faculty. Through interviews, I explore the decisions that a lack of adequate leave policy requires parents to make and the role that gender plays in these decisions. This project seeks to demonstrate the importance of learning from the lived experiences of those navigating employment, parenthood, and social roles when designing family leave policies.
